Have you ever wondered how to create bouncy curls or loose waves with the same tool?
Well it’s all about angles!
Here I am using the ghd Platinum+ in Cobalt Blue
On the right hand side, I am holding the stylers horizontal and pulling the stylers out; this will help to create more volume and bounce, leaving you with a rounded, bouncy curl shape.
On the left hand side, I am holding the stylers vertically and pulling the stylers straight down towards the floor. This will help to retain length, meaning a looser wave shape with a more straight edge.
Who knew that curling or waving hair could be so technical!?

#adgifted 💙 Angles are everything! 💙 RIGHT – holding the stylers on a horizontal and gliding them out and away from your head will create more of a rounded, bouncy curl. LEFT – holding the stylers on a vertical and gliding then down from your face, keeping them as close to your body as possible will retain length and create a loose wave with a straight end. And this will help to explain why sometimes you look at your hair and feel uneven on both sides… Perhaps one side you are pulling the hair more out rather than down or holding the styler on slightly different angles on each side. 💙 Stylers used are the @ghdhair Platinum+ in cobalt blue from the new Spring/Summer Upbeat collection 💙 Who’s going to be practicing their angles now? 🙌🏼
